The small tree at the left edge of this picture is about 100 feet from Jack's house. It produced virtually no blossoms, except on the branch in the middle of the picture. It was held against the ground by the broken limb at the right, which shielded this branch from the intense heat of battle. This branch produced more blossoms than the entire remainder of the tree. A normal dogwood tree is in the distance at the extreme right of the picture. Jack's house is behind where this picture was taken. All Dogwood pictures were taken on the same day.

This large Dogwood tree bore the full brunt of the intense heat of the battle which raged around Jack's house in early April 1998. It went into dormancy before the other Dogwoods started losing their
leaves in the fall. The corner of Jack's house is at the lower right of this picture. This story is told in THE ARMAGEDDON CHRONICLES, PART 1
